Description: In this lesson the student becomes a colonist who has been living in America for many years.
There has been difficult times, but the colonist(student) has made it through. The colonist(student) loves living in
the new colony and would never think about returning to live in England. Many of the colonist's (students) friends and neighbors
have died of illnesses over the winter months and the only way for the colony to survive is to get more people to immigrate from
England to the new colony. The King of England have given the colonist the power to make this happen. The student or colonist
is to make a brochure including many facts about his colony to make people in England immigrate to the new colony in America.
The students must use the computer to research and make their brochure on their colony and then present it to the class.
